Thanks for getting in touch with us. This bed is one of the sturdiest and robust beds we have, constructed from extra thick fibre board. It can be used by a wide range from small children, girl or boy, right up to teenagers. I am sure your son will feel comfortable on it. These beds are tested upto the weight of 12 stones. Also the length of this bed is 212cm (approx 7ft), so that will be fine enough.

The Kurt Mid Sleeper Light Acacia features includes the raised midsleeper bed frame, incorporating various shelving units, a two door cupboard and shelf unit as well as a pull-out desk. A standard 3 foot mattress can be used in this bed. However, there is a 5 cm gap top and bottom. The recommended mattress is the Symphony De Luxe Mattress 3ft Low Profile Continental Size 200cm or a continental size 200 cm mattress.

The Kurt Mid Sleeper Light Acacia is a fantastic childrens bed. It is finished in Acacia effect foil to create a more sophisticated look and is a great midsleeper for any child's bedroom. The ladder is not reversible from right to left.
