Hi Phil, the price of Zara Fabric Double Bed 4ft 6in - Plush Grey does not include a mattress. However, you can always add a mattress for a separate price. We recommend the Luxurious Dream Memory Foam Double Mattress - 4'6ft, Royal Sleep Double Mattress 4ft 6in or Sena Double Mattress 4ft 6in any of these mattresses will be prefect for this bed. is a modern - contemporary designed bed. The plush grey finish and high headboard gives this piece an aesthetically pleasing vibrance to any bedroom. The Headboard is 4ft 2inches high and 4ft 8inches wide. This bed comes only in Plush Grey colour. Regards, May
