Hi Brenda! Thank you for your recent request for more information concerning our desks. It is not really advisible to use Lex Desk as a straight table since the main table's end top is just sitting on the other table top's end and the other table's depth is much smaller (although you may also screw each table tops' end to each other should you want to use it as a straight table and make the base more stable). However the main table has a width of 135.7cm whilst the other table's width is 138.9cm. This product is being delivered flat-packed but self-assembly and instructions should be included in the packaging to guide you properly with the assembly. Hope this helps.
