The Bed takes a Special 10cm Deep 3ft Mattress, which can be provided if required.

is this a stand length single mattress but just slightly smaller in depth of mattress?

Sorry about the previous answer. This bed needs a 200cm length mattress (continental size)which is 10cm longer than a standard one. However some people don't mind to use a standard one as the gap is not too big.
Because it's a high sleeper it will be necessary a thin mattress or a low profile one.
We stock many of them: a basic one such as the Continental bunk bed 200cm mattress or a higher quality mattress like the Symphony de luxe continental low profile
