The Alaska creates that cool bed-sit effect. The raised bunk reached via the new grab handle 'swimming pool' ladder with hardwood steps. Underneath is a super futon sofa (available in various colours) that conveniently opens out into a comfortable double bed. As you grow the Alaska grows with you, splitting into a single bed and a sofa! The ladder can be attached on any side.

This is a great bed, my daughters absolutley delighted with it. It's great that it can be split into a single bed and sofa when she gets a bit older, this was the feature that attracted me to it. It came in a million pieces but lucky enough my boyfrind is a joiner and was able to put it all together for her, it's very sturdy. As much as I love it, I did manage to pick out a couple of faults because it wouldn't be me if I didn't, I've slept in the bottom bed a few times and I feel it could be alot more comfortable as you can feel the slats digging into your back while you sleep, and the safety bar around the top bunk could afford to be raised a little bit more as I still feel a six yr old could fall out of this at night. Thats just my input as there's always room for improvement, but overall I'm happy with it, it's great and looks well in her new room.

The alaska bunkbeds are brilliant, delighted with them. My husband assembled them and they were easy enough to put up, they are strong and sturdy also. They look great, I'm so pleased with them, can't fault them at all.

I'm over the moon with these bunk beds, they turned out grand. My husband did a great job at assembling them, they were no bother at all. My boys love them also which is the main thing, so overall I'm really pleased with them.

Tends to creak a bit when climbing up to it but all in all it is a good, sturdy bed.

The bed is okay. although honestly it is not very strong or sturdy. In a positive aspect, it is easy to assemble.
